At Huk, we show up where performance matters most—and there’s no better stage than the waters of Key West during SFC. From the first check-in to the final trophy lift, this year’s event delivered everything we stand for: elite competition, authentic community, and relentless time on the water.
Here’s a look back at an unforgettable week.

Welcome to The Catch @ The Perry
Wednesday was all about arrivals, energy, and setting the tone for the days ahead.
From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, teams rolled in for the official Check-In Experience, with every crew getting dialed in and ready to compete. Throughout the day, Media Day brought the docks to life—capturing content, connecting with teams, and getting everyone outfitted. Anglers stopped by to grab Huk gear, koozies, stickers, and more, making sure they were geared up before heading offshore.
There was a noticeable buzz as all teams checked in, representing a stacked field and building anticipation for what was to come.
That evening, the Kick-Off Party carried that momentum into the night. With welcome remarks setting the stage, the event officially shifted into competition mode. The highlight of the night was the Live Draft for the Celebrity Pro-Am, where teams selected their celebrity anglers, adding another layer of excitement and strategy to the week.
By the end of the night, one thing was clear—Key West was ready.
The Catch Competition: Setting the Tone
Thursday marked the first official day on the water, and it didn’t disappoint.
The morning started early with boat loading and departures, followed by an 8:00 AM shotgun start led by the Coast Guard Foundation. From there, teams pushed through a full day of competition, chasing every opportunity offshore.
Back on land, the energy stayed high with SFC Fan Fest running throughout the day at the Conch Republic Parking Lot, giving fans a place to stay connected to the action.
By the afternoon, all eyes turned to the docks for the Live Scales and Champagne Celebration—and it was a big moment for the Huk team.
The Catch Pro-Am title went to Huk-sponsored South Carolina Outcasts, alongside celebrity angler Captain Marko—also part of the Huk family. It was a standout win that reflected exactly what Huk is about: performance, preparation, and showing up when it counts.
From start to finish, Thursday set the tone for the rest of the week—and Huk was right at the center of it.

Key West Classic: Competition in Full Swing
By Friday, the Key West Classic was underway—and the pace didn’t slow down.
Early departures and full competition days tested every team, while afternoons brought fans together at Alonzo’s Patio for the KWC Watch Party. It was the perfect blend of sport and community—watching the action unfold in real time, surrounded by others who live for it.
Saturday carried that same momentum, with another full day on the water and a live broadcast that brought even more visibility to the competition. From the docks to the screens, the excitement was constant.
Championship Sunday: Leaving It All on the Water
Sunday is what it all builds toward.
With one final push from 8:00 AM to lines out, teams gave everything they had. The watch party crowd at Alonzo’s stayed locked in as the final moments played out, leading into the night’s trophy celebrations at Marina A&B.
It was more than a finish—it was a culmination of days spent chasing, competing, and performing at the highest level.

Gear Up Like a Pro
One thing you couldn’t miss around the docks all week? The Airweight Collection. From check-in to lines out, tournament teams stayed cool and protected in some of Huk’s lightest performance gear built for brutal heat and long days offshore.
The Airweight Hoodie quickly became a standout across the event, combining bold on-water style with breathable comfort, UPF protection, quick-dry performance, and stretch that moves with you through every cast, run, and weigh-in.
When the conditions push anglers to the limit, lightweight technical gear like Airweight makes all the difference.
Why It Matters
Events like Key West SFC are at the core of what Huk represents.
They bring together anglers who demand more—from themselves and their gear. They create moments that go beyond competition, building a community rooted in time on the water. And they showcase the environments where performance isn’t optional—it’s everything.
We’re proud to be part of it. Proud to outfit those who push limits. And already looking ahead to the next one.
