What separates a good tournament day from a great one?
Decision speed. Everybody on tour can cast. The guys who win are the ones who commit to the right water an hour before everyone else figures it out.
When you're not competing, where do we find you?
On the water with my family, or in the deer woods. Same mindset, different scoreboard.
What's the one thing every angler should invest in?
Time. Gear matters — believe me, I'm picky about mine — but nothing replaces hours of watching how fish react to conditions.
