Warranty Policy for Huk Fishing Apparel 

• Introduction
  • Purpose: At Huk, we are committed to providing high-quality fishing apparel designed to enhance your outdoor experience. Our warranty policy reflects our dedication to craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. We stand behind the durability and performance of our products, and this policy ensures that our customers can shop with confidence. If your Huk apparel doesn’t meet your expectations due to a defect in materials or workmanship, we’re here to make it right. This warranty is designed to be simple, fair, and hassle-free, so you can focus on what matters most — getting out on the water and enjoying the sport you love.

That’s why we promise to deliver fishing apparel that combines exceptional performance, durability, and comfort. Every piece we create is crafted with the demands of anglers in mind, ensuring it can stand up to the toughest environments. We understand that your gear is an essential part of your fishing experience, and we’re committed to ensuring it performs at its best. If something goes wrong due to a defect in materials or workmanship, our warranty policy is here to back you up—because we believe in earning your trust, one cast at a time.

• Scope of the Warranty
  • Covered Products: Our warranty covers all Huk branded products (with the exception of sunglasses, which are sold through PFG).
  • Standard Warranty Period: Warranty is valid for one year from date of purchase.
    • Exceptions with extended warranties:  
      • Rogue Wave boots
      • Rain Gear / Outerwear
      • Pro Series Rain Suit (Jacket or Bib)
        
  • Eligibility Requirements:
    • Proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or online order confirmation).
    • Product purchased directly from Huk or authorized retailers.

• Warranty Coverage* 
  • Apparel: Production defects including material failures, stiching issues, or faulty zippers
  • Boots/Shoes: Discoloration, pull tab issues, or cracking.  
  • Exclusions:
    • Normal wear and tear.
    • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper care (e.g., failing to follow washing instructions).
    • Alterations or modifications by the customer.
  • Repair or replacement requets
    • Repairs
      • We do not offer in-house repair options but will reimburse the customer the cost of the repair with store credit towards a feuture purchase. 
      • All repair reimbursements must be pre-apporoved by customer service prior to any work being done.
      • Customer must provide a receipt for the repair work with the date and a description of the work completed prior to store credit being issued. 
    • Replacements 
      • Products will be replaced with the same or the equivalent product if original product is no longer in stock.

• Warranty Processing Time
  • Warranty claims are typically processed within 10-15 business days after receiving the product.

• Legal Protections 
  • Limitation of liability 
    • This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective products, as determined by Huk at its sole discretion. Huk shall not be held liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the product, including but not limited to lost fishing time, loss of revenue, or other related costs.
    • This warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy for defective products, and all implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this express warranty.
    • Huk reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, what constitutes an acceptable claim under this warranty policy based on the provided evidence and the terms outlined herein.
  • Exclusion of Implied Warranties
    • To the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are expressly disclaimed and excluded.
    • If such warranties cannot be disclaimed under applicable law, they are limited in duration to the term of this express warranty. This exclusion and limitation may not apply in jurisdictions that do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties.
    • Compliance with Local Laws: Ensure the policy complies with applicable consumer protection laws (e.g., Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act in the U.S.).

• Policy Amendments
  • Huk reserves the right to modify, update, or amend this warranty policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes to the policy will be effective immediately upon being posted to our official website.
  • The warranty coverage applicable to your product will be determined based on the policy in effect at the time of your original purchase. We encourage you to review the warranty policy periodically to stay informed about any updates.
